President Colin welcomed all members along to Kirkcaldy Aquarist Society table show number 6. Colin presented Mandy Hutchison with a certificate for completing breeding and showing 8 different types of fish. Well done Mandy, while the judging was taking place Colin started the conversation on what was happening within the member’s tanks what the members were breeding and any problems that were taking place. Presentation then took place from our judges Jill and Ken, Colin & Susan Beavis took best fish with Corydoras Pygmaeus. Best junior went to Jack young with his Nan Marginatus. big thanks to Jill and Ken for judging all 39 entries.

, President Colin started meeting by welcoming all members along. Colin then proceeded to go through the Club business reminding members about a social night that is coming up and our bus trip down south in October. There was also a short discussion on premises for the club. Once all club business was taken care of there was a small in house auction where a few members sold some fish. There was some fish talk and refreshments after auction.

This week’s Kirkcaldy aquarist society meeting was a talk by Mandy Hutchison on their journey in fish keeping from start to present date. President Colin started meeting by welcoming all members along. Colin then proceeded to go through the Club business reminding members about a social night that is coming up and our bus trip down south in October. Before Mandy then started her talk which was put together nicely with a power point presentation that was shown over the projector. Once the talk was finished Colin thanked Mandy for her talk followed by a round of applause from the members.

President Colin opened the meeting by welcoming all members to club, he then proceeded to discus the bus trip this being held in October and also a social evening at an Indian restaurant that’s looking to be held next month. Brian Hutchison then had a quiz on fish that all members took part in with the winner being Colin Smith winning a sponge filter for his tank.

Colin also welcomed 3 new members into the club. there was a quick mention about our bus trip in October before Brian Hutchinson and Laurie Halford did a talk on K1 media filters. once talk was finished the club members thanked Brian and Laurie. presentation then took place from our judges Jill and Mike Colin & Susan Beavis took best fish with Paracheirodon Axelrodi. best junior went to Callie Reid with her Poecilia. big thanks to Jill and Mike for judging all 57 entries.
