President Colin welcomed members to the meeting and began by giving an update on the ongoing search for a new venue. The minutes from the recent committee meeting were then read out.
The upcoming meal night at Tony Macaroni still has spaces available and the sheet for the bus trip will be going up shortly with the same shops as last year.
As this week was an off meeting there was no set topic but most of the discussion centered around the future of the USA and the direction that Kirkcaldy Aquarist Society would go in with regards to a governing body.
Next week is a talk by Gordon McLeod on showing fish
President Colin welcomed members to this weeks meeting which was table show no 2 before going over the current club business. The next club meal out will be at Toni Macaroni with the date still to be confirmed. The bus trip shops are still to be announced and it is hoped these will be firmed up in the next few weeks.
With the judges given the nod to commence judging the members took the chance to have a number of discussions with Gordon having a rather curious issue of pink tinged water in a single tank of his setup, Colin mentioned he had also experienced this and members chimed in with suggestions.
Once the judging was completed the awards were handed out with Gordon McLeod claiming best fish with a Corydoras Sychri. The meeting then broke for refreshments and the raffle. Next week is an off meeting.
