President Colin welcomed members to this weeks meeting and began by mentioning the latest KAS meal night at Sweet Chesnut in Dunfermline which proved a great success with everyone who attended enjoying some good food and chat.
This week was a talk by Colin with assistance from Brian H on their fish sheds and looked at the methods of construction, the rationale behind design decisions and issues and how they were overcome, the talk was well received with members asking questions and enjoying seeing yet more members building fish sheds. It is great to see so many club members running sheds successfully and keeping all their fish alive.
Joe then read out the minutes of the last AGM which were proposed and seconded. Jim then gave a brief impression of the club finances but will provide a more detailed report shortly. Discussion then turned to the current lack of a permanent home Colin will continue to pursue this.
A discussion was then had on revamping the criteria for a family membership and it was agreed changes would be made meaning children on the family membership do not have to reside at the address. The bus trip was discussed but no firm decisions were reached and this subject will be revisited.
A general discussion was then had with members having the chance to input on all the subjects discussed the meeting then broke for refreshments and the raffle. Next week is an off meeting.
