President Colin welcomed members to this weeks meeting and began by mentioning the latest KAS meal night at Sweet Chesnut in Dunfermline which proved a great success with everyone who attended enjoying some good food and chat.

A enjoyable conversation was then had covering a range of topics from Ernie’s shed, James Betta splendens order and Brian’s new 900 liter marine setup Brian thanked Colin and Joe for their assistance in fixing a pipework issue and James for helping get the tank off the lorry and into the house.
John mentioned he could get a sample of some badges for the club and will bring one in for members to have a look at these will be able to be ordered in the quantities the club wants with no minimum order.
The meeting then broke for refreshments and the drawing of the raffle.

Next week is Table Show No 1 and all are welcome to enter providing they are paid members of the club memberships can be paid for on the night.
President Colin welcomed members and covered the current club business including a final mention of the KAS meal at the Sweet Chesnut in Dunfermline on Saturday the 22nd Why not come along and get involved in the social side of the club?

This week was a talk by Colin with assistance from Brian H on their fish sheds and looked at the methods of construction, the rationale behind design decisions and issues and how they were overcome, the talk was well received with members asking questions and enjoying seeing yet more members building fish sheds. It is great to see so many club members running sheds successfully and keeping all their fish alive.

The meeting then turned to a light hearted discussion of a number of topics before it broke for refreshments and the drawing of the raffle. Next week is an off meeting.
This week was the AGM so president Colin welcomed the members before standing down the committee. Brian Stark was then left with the job of confirming Colin back to the role of president so that Colin could then confirm the remainder of the committee which remains the same as last year.

Joe then read out the minutes of the last AGM which were proposed and seconded. Jim then gave a brief impression of the club finances but will provide a more detailed report shortly. Discussion then turned to the current lack of a permanent home Colin will continue to pursue this.

A discussion was then had on revamping the criteria for a family membership and it was agreed changes would be made meaning children on the family membership do not have to reside at the address.  The bus trip was discussed but no firm decisions were reached and this subject will be revisited.

A general discussion was then had with members having the chance to input on all the subjects discussed  the meeting then broke for refreshments and the raffle. Next week is an off meeting.
